Pledge 2 - Citizen Science
Contribute to research and help organisations to monitor and protect wildlife by recording sightings and observations, collecting samples and gathering data about wildlife and habitats. You can usually record observations on an organisation's website or increasingly through specialised apps for your phone. Sometimes specialist knowledge is required, but often a basic grasp of wildlife is all you need to get involved- it’s a fun, free way to enjoy nature while at the same time as helping to protect it.

- If you live in the parish of Ugborough visit Greener Ugborough's Biodiversity page they are using the iNaturalist App for their citizen science project to record wildlife in the Parish.
